Open Science Working Group

Our goal is to promote open science within the MPG by advertising and promoting tools for open science, and through collaboration with other groups worldwide.

The Open Science Working Group is engaging on different open science
topics, such as:

• Freely accessible scientific publications
• Publishing research data for reproducibility
• Open-source research software, hardware, and infrastructure
• Dialogue with non-scientific communities

We aim to raise awareness of the existing aids and tools for open
science. Therefore, we discuss and promote beneficial tools which could
be established at Max Planck. Additionally, we connect to other open
science communities everywhere in the world to strengthen open
scientific work and collaboration.
