Welcome Package

The PostdocNet Welcome Package is a handbook full of useful information for current (and future!) MPG postdocs. It is currently under development, but eventually will include topics ranging from how to move to Germany and settle in, where to seek funding opportunities, how to help balance career and family, and how to approach health insurance and social security. It is our hope that the Welcome Package will help postdocs to be more informed about their rights and responsibilities as MPG postdocs, and will make the transition to and from the postdoc stage easier.

The Welcome Package is being developed by the Onboarding Working Group. If you are interested in helping out, please feel free to reach out to them!
